Initial Consultation
Before your first session, please book an initial consultation so we can decide how to best support you. This will be a complimentary 15-20 minute telephone call. We have counsellors, coaches, and healers who specialize in: chronic pain, anxiety, depression, body-image, relationships, self-esteem, family harmony, children & youth, cultural diversity, LGBTQ2 community, work-life balance, men's issues, past-life trauma, and spirituality. We also have additional wellness therapies for those wanting physical healing and spiritual growth. Click here to see who does what.
Dragonfly Academy Workshops & Classes
All in-person classes and trainings offered at Dragonfly Academy can be booked and paid for at Dragonfly Wellness Centre. If there is an online component, we will then create a registration for you on our course platform at www.dragonflyacademy.ca for lifetime access to downloads, recordings and course materials.
Coaching
Coaching creates a powerful partnership aimed to co-design and implement specific, meaningful changes in your personal and professional life. Through coaching you will identify what is most important to you and recognize any obstacles that may be holding you back from achieving your goals.
Integrated Wellness Coaching helps you with understanding the various factors involved in your overall health and well-being. Your Wellness Facilitator works with you to create a customized Wellness Plan to get to your health goals.
Somatic Coaching assesses where changes need to be made in the body's systems in order to promote health and ease. Your coach will work with you to develop customized tools that you can use to strengthen and heal the body.
Relationship Coaching targets the complex demands of conscience, fair, and connected romantic partnerships. Sharing proven tools and encouraging quick-but-lasting changes, we can get you through the ups and downs of love while helping you master your relationship for the long term. The Better Us Program is a seven session intensive to get you and your partner speaking the same language again. (NOT for couples in serious marital crisis.)
Energy Healing
In addition to the mind, the body and spirit also help us process emotion. Unhealed emotional pain from the past can show up as unexplained physical aches and pains, the development of stress-related illnesses, lethargy and exhaustion, brain-fog, and even persistent feelings of being stuck. We also know that the body knows how to heal itself if we allow it to re-balance.
Through the gentle, ancient, energy healing techniques of Reiki and Pranic Healing, clients can get back in touch with their body's own natural healing mechanisms. If you are looking for a holistic way balance your emotional and physical wellbeing, Energy Healing may be for you.
Counselling Therapy
We offer both in-person and online counselling by Registered Clinical Counsellors. Dr. Saira and Luke offer in-person Transpersonal and Existential Therapy in the Salmon Arm, BC area. Arian offers in-person Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in North Vancouver, BC. If you prefer online counselling, you can get the benefits of a working with any of our Counsellors from the comfort and privacy of your home. Our therapists are qualified and caring, and ready to help you feel, heal, and grow with grace.
Massage
Massage helps the body with on-going physical maintenance, stress-management, and pain control. It can also be helpful when recovering from an injury.
Wellness Therapies
The body tells us when things are out of balance. Mental stress and burnout often manifest in physical symptoms, such as headaches, back and shoulder pain, neck pain, stiffness in the limbs, digestive issues, unexplained weight gain, tightness in the jaw, etc. We offer body-based wellness therapies to help re-set your body's baseline, move from away the fight-flight state into balance, increase relaxation, and activate the body's natural healing mechanisms, promoting flow and ease in your day-to-day life.
Online Support Groups
Join a group of like-minded people to learn and grow. Our groups are confidential, welcoming, and interactive. Cameras and privacy are required.
